LONDON, April 30 (UPI) -- The breeding habits of the wandering albatross, one of the Earth's largest birds, have changed with earlier egg-laying than ever, British researchers say.
The birds, which have wing spans up to 11 feet, are breeding earlier in the season compared with 30 years ago, the British Antarctic Survey reported Monday.
