NEW YORK, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The U.S.-based Wildlife Conservation Society has announced the discovery of a spectacularly colored snake species in a remote area of Tanzania in East Africa.
The 2-foot-long, striking black-and-yellow snake with horn-like scales above its eyes has been named Matilda's horned viper, the society said in a release Monday.
