CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Ongoing investigations and repair of cracks on the fuel tank of the space shuttle Discovery will push a possible launch to late February, NASA officials said.
Workers at Kennedy Space Center in Florida are reinforcing 32 structural support beams, called stringers, on the tank's midsection, Florida Today reported Friday.
