Motorola signs on Beckham in ad campaign

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill., June 13 (UPI) -- Motorola Tuesday signed on football star David Beckham as its global brand ambassador.

The British player will focus on making advertising appearances across Asia. The deal also includes having exclusive Beckham content such as screen savers and video clips of the player in Motorola handsets. During the World Cup matches in Germany, Beckham will be seen exclusively carrying Motorola products, the U.S. telecom company said.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
