Steve Case leaves Time Warner board

WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Steve Case said Monday he has resigned as a board member of Time Warner.

The co-founder of AOL who is currently the chief executive of a startup company called Revolution that was launched this year, Case said he will remain one of Time Warner's largest individual shareholders.


In a news release, however, Case said, "Leaving Time Warner's board will give me a greater opportunity to grow Revolution, including avoiding any potential conflicts of interest as Revolution move into new areas."
