SARS forces China to close 2nd hospital

WASHINGTON, April 25 (UPI) -- Chinese officials closed a second hospital Friday and quarantined 4,000 people in the capital city of Beijing as SARS cases continued to surge in the country. Other Asian nations also reported new cases of the illness and the worldwide total reached 4,649 infected and 274 dead.
