NASA honing in on Mars rover landing sites

PASADENA, Calif., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Scientists have whittled down the list of possible landing sites for a pair of Martian rovers from 185 contenders to four favorites. NASA wants to land the rovers where water may have once been present on the planet's surface. The rovers are scheduled to launch next year.
