Physician questions use of anthrax vaccine

WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- The physician who treated the first anthrax victim in United States this fall questions the effectiveness of a federal health plan to give the anthrax vaccine to people exposed to large amounts of the bacteria. Dr. Larry Bush of Atlantis, Fla., said of the 1,000 people given antibiotics in the American Media case in Boca Raton, only two were diagnosed with the infection.
