CHICAGO, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages impedes blood flow to the brain enough to affect research based on scans of brain activity, a new study said Tuesday. Radiologists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison said caffeine reduces blood flow by nearly one-fourth in the gray matter of the brain where nerve cells concentrate.
