Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Ryan Reynolds has an argument with Fred Savage over the band Nickelback in a new clip from Once Upon a Deadpool.

Reynolds uploaded the video onto Twitter Monday. "Dec. 12th. #RespectTheBack," he said, referencing the film's limited theater run from Dec. 12 to Dec. 24.

The clip features Deadpool (Reynolds) with Savage inside a kid's bedroom where they begin arguing over the musical talents of Nickelback. The setup pays homage to Savage's role in 1987's The Princess Bride which he appeared in as a young boy.

"I've had it with all this Nickelback hating. You think that makes you cool with the cool kids in school Fred?" Deadpool says before he begins listing off the various awards Nickelback has won in addition to selling 50 million albums worldwide.

Deadpool is able to convince Savage to longer bash the band before the pair join together for a rendition of Nickelback's "How You Remind Me."

Once Upon a Deadpool is a PG-13 version of the orginally R-rated Deadpool 2. The project will feature new scenes added to Deadpool 2 including more banter between the titular hero and Savage. For every ticket sold for the film, $1 will be donated to the temporarily renamed Fudge Cancer charity.
