Pixar announces 'Onward' starring Chris Pratt, Tom Holland

Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Pixar and Disney has announced their next original feature film titled Onward, which will feature the voice talents of Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

Pixar made the announcement Wednesday on Twitter alongside a logo for the animated project. Onward is set for release on March 6, 2020.

The film, from director Dan Scanlon who helmed Pixar's Monsters University, will follow two elf brothers who embark on a journey together in search of magic, Deadline reported.

Pixar is next set to release Toy Story 4 on June 21, 2019. The sequel will feature the return of Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) alongside a new character named Forky, voiced by Tony Hale.
