INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A former San Diego State running back who has dreams of playing in the NFL left the Combine on Sunday without working out because God allegedly told him that he'll play for the Seattle Seahawks.

Adam Muema said he was "following God” and that suiting up for Seattle is his "dream."

"God told me to sit down, be quiet and enjoy the peace,” Muema told U-T San Diego.

Muema is so sure about his draft status that he posted a photo of a No. 8 Seahawks jersey on his Facebook page.

"Can't go wrong with God," Muema said.

The 21-year-old will still have the chance to work out for teams at San Diego State's pro day in March.

According to Muema, he communicates with God through numbers. His Twitter bio simply reads: “|God f1rst| Seahawks #8|.”

The former Aztec rushed 256 times for 1,244 yards and 15 touchdowns in the 2013 season.
