ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- It seems like this would have been likelier to happen while they were watching boxing…

During a Super Bowl party in Upstate New York, a man allegedly punched his younger sibling in the face, knocked him out and then bit off part of his ear.

Sean Fallon-Nebbia, 27, of Rochester was charged with felony assault for attacking his brother Frank during a postgame brawl that went down after the brothers had shared more than a bottle of whiskey.

An emergency room doctor said that the ear was “permanently disfigured” and that “the victim’s ear will not be the same again.”

According to witnesses, the men were just "play wrestling" but then things "turned violent and aggressive." Police were also told that the brothers “puked all over each other’s faces” during the altercation.

In a statement to police, Fallon-Nebbia’s girlfriend wrote, “They were drinking. They really just love each other.”
