Advertisement Daniel Spuck filed a lawsuit via inmate mail from the state’s corrections department asking the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania for "a temporary emergency injunction" to halt the NFL playoffs because he says the Chargers do not deserve to be playing. According to Spuck’s suit, a missed call in the Week 17 game between San Diego and Kansas City paved the way for the Chargers to make the playoffs. If the Chargers had lost, the Steelers would have become the wild-card team. Kansas City kicker Ryan Succop missed a 41-yard field goal but officials failed to call an illegal alignment formation on the Chargers that would have allowed him another shot. Spuck filed the suit prior to the playoffs starting last Saturday. In the paperwork, he suggests that the league could allow Succop to re-kick the field goal or schedule a neutral site game between the Steelers and the Chargers.
