Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe When a robber approached the drive-thru window of the McDonald’s in Vallejo, Calif., early Tuesday morning he didn’t order a Big Mac, fries or a No. 2. Instead, he forced his estimated 165-pound body through the small window and threatened the two employees who were working the overnight shift with a gun. “He confronted both the manager and the employee with a gun and then forced both to the rear of the business,” said Vallejo Police Lt. Kenny Park. “They were then ordered to strip down and go inside a freezer.” Advertisement With the employees locked in the freezer, the robber was free to ransack the restaurant’s registers for an undisclosed amount of cash. “Fearing for their own lives, the employees decided to stay put until they felt it was safe to come out,” Lt. Park said. Police are reviewing surveillance videos of the incident for evidence. “It’s like, that’s pretty drastic,” said a local woman. The robbery was just one of a string of violent crimes that have plagued Vallejo in the past week. “We cannot solve all these crimes alone. We’re going to ask for the public’s help,” Lt. Park said. The suspect is described by police as 5’10”, early 20’s, and African American or Hispanic.
