Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Dec. 6 (UPI) -- It’s the same Bat-time, same Bat-channel for the California boy who saved San Francisco last month during a heartwarming stint as “Batkid,” as 5-year-old Miles Scott returns to the city this weekend for a Make-A-Wish fundraiser with the SFPD. Scott fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming Batman on Nov. 15 thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation, and spent the day dashing around San Francisco in a Batmobile saving the city from a series of staged crime-fighting events involving villains like the Penguin and Riddler. Advertisement Police Chief Greg Suhr, who played Commissioner Gordon to Scott’s Batkid back in November, will be reunited with the tiny crime-fighter on Saturday at Brave the Bay, a fundraiser where participants will do a 5K walk/run, swim in the San Francisco Bay and then compete in a cable car pulling contest. Suhr and other police officers are taking part in the event and Scott will start them off when the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. at Aquatic Park. The goal of the event is to raise $75,000 for Make-A-Wish. In other positive news, Scott’s leukemia is in remission and he was able to end his chemotherapy treatments in June.
