Bearing the slogan "Dirty sex, clean mouth," Blowpaste was created, Ejan says, because most oral lubricants contain aspartame, candy flavors and other things that are bad for your teeth.
If you brush your teeth before bed, then use a sugary lube, a second brushing can be annoying. With Blowpaste, Ejan was "able to peacefully fall asleep in her lover's arms" according to their Indiegogo campaign page.
In addition to being good for your teeth, the minty essential oils allegedly add sensation when used as a lube.
Blowpaste is also vegan, gluten-free and American-made in Chicago. The creators emphasize in a cheeky video advertisement that Blowpaste was not tested on animals, "only human beings."
The two-ounce tubes are selling for $10 each, and Ejan and Guistolise are trying to raise $5,000 so they can travel to Exxotica and AdultCon to sell their creation. But people who love a clean mouth, a minty member and animals seem to be few; so far, they've raised $211.
