The Photoshop restoration of a vintage photo undertaken by Redditor TheHatersalad and captured in a time-lapse video has developed into an Internet sensation.

TheHatersalad emphasizes that the digital restoration of a vintage photo of fellow user F2ISO100's grandmother was "for practice" and to "test time-lapsing."

The Photoshop process took more than two hours, but the video shows it all in just over seven minutes. "I feel -- for the first time -- like I got to see her, back in time," F2ISO100 wrote after seeing the result. "This is so, so beautiful."
