[VIDEO] Dog buries dead puppy in apparent act of mourning

The New York Daily News has pointed to this sad but fascinating video of a dog meticulously burying the body of a dead puppy. Using its snout, the dog pushes sand over the lifeless body of the puppy in an apparent act of mourning.

Though the video's title suggests that the incident took place in Iraq, there's no additional information about the two animals. It is not known whether the dog and the puppy were related.
