George Clooney recently joked that the only "work" he's had done is to iron out the wrinkles on the skin of his testicles.

"I never fixed my eyes, but I spent more money to stretch the skin of my testicles. I did not like the wrinkles," he said. "It's a new technique, many people in Hollywood have done it. It's called 'ball ironing.'"

But some fans wondered whether he was, in fact, joking, after discovering there is a procedure available that uses lasers to remove hair, erase wrinkles and correct discoloration on the scrotum.

The procedure, called "Tighten the Tackle" was introduced by Dr. Drew collaborator Nurse Jamie at her Santa Monica spa Beauty Park. Nurse Jamie added the $575 "Male Laser Lift" service last year and says it has been a raving success.

The skin-care television expert doesn't reveal which celebrities she works with, but says she decided to offer the cosmetic service after being inundated with requests.

The Beauty Park website explains the laser lift process.

"Male grooming these days is on par with female grooming. Using the Pixel laser this procedure evens out skin tone, removes discoloration from ingrown hairs, removes skin tags and provides overall tightening to the external skin. You know where…"

The hair removal process takes 45 minutes and it takes another 25 minutes to tighten and improve skin tone. Results last up to four weeks, six sessions are recommended. Nurse Jamie says the procedure has a "high patient satisfaction."

Before selecting the Tighten the Tackle name, other contenders included 'Ball Ironing', 'Go Nuts' and 'Laser Polish The Crown Jewels'.
