The Monroe County Sheriff's Office posted photos and videos to social media showing the scene that unfolded when Sgt. James Hager responded to the Pirates Cove subdivision near Mile Marker 98 in Key Largo. Advertisement The post said Hager helped residents "remove this unwelcome guest from their backyard/pool." The video shows Hager using a shovel and a resident using a broom to encourage the gator to leave the property after exiting the pool.
