David Rush, aka Record Breaker Rush on YouTube, originally broke the record in 2020 by striking his target with 19 thrown chopsticks in one minute. He said the title is difficult because he had to stand more than 13 feet away from the target, and had to hit the two innermost colors on the standard archery target for a hit to count. Rush said the new record attempt began fortuitously with his first chopstick hitting the exact center of the bullseye. In the end, he recaptured the title with 28 hits.
