Sept. 18 (UPI) -- A South Carolina couple said they only learned about their $200,000 lottery jackpot when a spot on their local TV news reminded them to check their ticket.

The Aiden couple told South Carolina Education Lottery officials they were watching the news when they heard someone had won a $200,000 prize from the Aug. 9 Palmetto Cash 5 drawing and had yet to come forward.

"Wow," the wife recalled thinking. "I wondered if it could be me."

The ticket, purchased from the 3 Way Food Mart on Silver Bluff Road in Aiken, matched all five numbers: 4-29-30-32-33.

The wife said the $200,000 prize money has already been put to good use.

"I've already taken care of a few things," she told officials.
