The Marco Island Police Department said its officers and community service officers responded Monday morning when a dog was reported stranded. Advertisement "Thankfully, officers were able to make a quick rescue," the department said in a Facebook post. The post included photos of the dog wrapped in a blanket after being safely returned to dry land.
