Feb. 15 (UPI) -- An Idaho couple put a different sort of gaming skill to the test when they broke the Guinness World Record for fastest time to arrange a chess set (team of two).

David Rush, who has broken more than 150 Guinness records to promote STEM education, teamed up with his wife, Jennifer, to break the record for setting up a chess board.

The couple said Guinness rules required them each to use only one hand, and only one piece could be set at a time from at least 12 inches away.

The previous record stood at 36.7 seconds, and the Rushes defeated it with a time of 34.09 seconds.
