Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Wildlife trappers were summoned to a home in South Africa where a couple discovered a 10-foot crocodile swimming laps in their backyard pool.
Angel Breytenbach said she was outside in the early morning hours when she spotted a large shape in the water that the native Australian soon recognized as a crocodile.

Breytenbach and her husband, Jacob, summoned wildlife trappers to their home and a video of the rescue shows the team using a lasso to fish the reptile out of the water.
Wildlife officials said the crocodile likely became disoriented due to recent storms that may have driven it to venture out of a nearby river.
The crocodile will be returned to the wild, the trappers said.
