Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Firefighters in China were called to a shopping mall to rescue a small boy who climbed into a claw machine and became trapped inside.

A video recorded at the mall in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, shows firefighters breaking open the lock on the claw machine's glass door to free the crying child.

The boy's mother called firefighters after the boy climbed into the machine while her back was turned.

Firefighters said the boy was not injured.
