Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Sept. 5 (UPI) -- A pair of workers at a Missouri county's health department came to the rescue of a woman whose wedding and engagement rings accidentally ended up in a giant dumpster. The Madison County Health Department said Tanya Bozza stopped into a convenience center Tuesday and asked for help finding the wedding and engagement rings that had accidentally been thrown out with her trash. Advertisement "When she talked to me she was very specific about what she threw out, when and where and all that," Candy Overstreet, the department's director of environmental health, told the Jackson Sun. "So that helped us because I could call Kenny and Doug, and they'd know where to start looking." The health department workers, Kenny Jackson and Doug Snider, said they were able to locate Bozza's trash bag after about 20 minutes of searching the 20-foot dumpster, which was filled with trash that was scheduled to be compacted later that day. "I grabbed it and opened it for her and let her go through it, and there it was," Snider said.
