Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A utility crew investigating a power outage in Kentucky discovered the cause -- a large snake curled up in a transformer.
The Meade County Rural Electric crew went searching for the cause of a Brandenburg power outage Thursday and found the snake had come into contact with equipment.
The company shared photos of the barbecued serpent on Facebook.
Power was restored to the affected customers by Friday.
