Montana road blocked by branch-dragging beaver

April 16 (UPI) -- A sheriff's deputy in Montana captured video of an unusual late night road hazard -- a beaver dragging a large branch across the road.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office shared video recorded by a deputy's dashboard camera as he stopped to watch the beaver drag its dam-making materials across the road.

The deputy joked the beaver was "on the night shift."

"Oh, the things we see," the department wrote.
