The 44-year-old Fallston man told Maryland Lottery officials he won a radio-call in contest for a book and the next day his luck struck a second time when the $100,000 Crossword scratch-off ticket he bought from a Wawa convenience store in Fallston turned out to be a top prize winner. The winner said he decided to wait a few weeks before cashing in his ticket so he could meet with a financial planner and celebrate the holidays. The family collected the prize Dec. 26 and the man said the first order of business is a steak dinner at a nice restaurant followed by upgrading their home's kitchen. The man said he is still waiting to receive the book from the radio contest.
