Trash can flies into windshield on Texas highway

Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Texas woman's dashboard camera was rolling when an airborne trash can flew into her windshield on the highway.

Kathy Lanham said she was driving on Interstate 635 in Dallas when the trash can went flying over lanes of traffic and struck the windshield of her Honda CRV.

She said the trash can, which was filled with mulch, didn't cause any damage to her vehicle, but it did leave her in desperate need of a car wash.

She said the can apparently flew off a landscaping truck after the driver misjudged whether the mulch would be enough to weigh it down.
