Dec. 3 (UPI) -- A Maryland man has branded himself "Mr. Lucky" after winning a $31,311 lottery jackpot just three months after he won $1 million.

The 38-year-old man told Maryland Lottery officials he won his $31,311 Racetrax jackpot by placing a trifecta bet with a multiplier bonus on the high-odds virtual horse combination of 11, 12 and 10. The winning ticket was purchased for only $6 at the Hyattsville Convenience Store.

The man, who gave himself the nickname "Mr. Lucky," collected his prize Thursday -- just three months and two days after he previously visited Maryland Lottery headquarters.

Mr. Lucky took home $1 million in August when he scored a top prize on a $1,000,000 Blowout ticket.
