Nov. 27 (UPI) -- A Tennessee woman shared photos and video of a rare albino deer that wandered under her tree stand during a recent hunting trip.

Amy Henderson Hall posted photos to Facebook showing the 12-point albino buck that wandered under her tree stand in the woods of Williamson County.

She posted a video to YouTube showing the animal encounter.

"This albino 12 point buck walked right underneath me and hung out with me for 30 minutes. I teared up and was totally amazed," Hall wrote.

Hall's YouTube post noted it is illegal to shoot albino deer in Tennessee. The state legislature passed a law protecting the animals in 2001.

Local resident Scott Baker said he spotted the same deer while driving to his Nolensville home.

"People keep posting about this albino deer and how majestic it is, and I was riding home from the fire hall down Clovercroft Road and it was real foggy and I thought, 'I need to look for that deer,'" Baker told The Tennessean newspaper. "As soon as I thought that, I looked over and there he was."
