The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said the "Holiday Nostalgia Train," a 1932 r-1 train with rattan seats and ceiling fans, was put into service Sunday in Manhattan and will be in service on Sundays through the end of the year. "The lighting, the seats, the whole experience. It's like a living, breathing thing. They don't make me like they used to."
