Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Animal rescuers in Los Angeles used a custom pole to rescue a kitten found trapped between two cement walls near the city's downtown. Los Angeles Animal Services said a Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team responded Monday when the cat was reported wedged in the narrow gap between the walls. Advertisement A video shared by the agency shows SMART team members Ernesto Poblano and Jennielee Greslie using a custom "flex pole" to reach the kitten. The kitten was given a foster home by the South LA Animal Service Center, officials said.
