The City of Fulshear said a resident snapped photos of the potentially deadly snake coiled up for warmth right next to the knob the Cross Creek Ranch resident had been planning to turn to winterize their sprinkler system. Advertisement Officials urged anyone planning to turn their sprinkler systems off ahead of a possible freeze to "stay aware and observant." The city said the snake was removed and relocated by a reptile expert.
