Guinness World Records confirmed the count and said it was a new world record.
The gathering included several "original Rosies," including Stella Haener, 101, and Lottie Kucab, who celebrated her 100th birthday on the day of the record attempt.
The world record attempt was organized to raise funds and awareness for a campaign to save the Willow Run bomber plant, where "real Rosie" Rose Will Monrow made bomber plane wings during World War II.
"Standing together with over 3,700 women was an empowering moment because we paid homage to the strength of our mothers and grandmothers before us and we showed the world that we have what it takes to save the Willow Run bomber plant and inspire the daughters and granddaughters of our future," organizer Alison Beatty said.
