Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Drivers on a Houston highway had to swerve to avoid two giant spools that fell from a truck -- just weeks after a near-identical incident. The two spools fell from a semi truck Monday afternoon on Interstate 10 and drivers were seen swerving to avoid colliding with the large objects. Advertisement The incident came just three weeks after a near-identical situation unfolded near the same location. Police said no injuries were reported from Monday's incident. Crews said the spools were believed to be fiber optic casing and each one weighed about 18,000 pounds. The driver of the semi truck was cited for having a load over the height limit.
