Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe Nov. 13 (UPI) -- An injured deer was rescued from railroad tracks in Chicago after causing about three hours of commuter train service interruptions. The Chicago Transit Authority said Blue Line service between O'Hare and Harlem was suspended for about three hours Monday afternoon when an injured deer was spotted on the tracks at the Rosemont station. Advertisement A CTA spokesman said multiple local and state agencies were called in to help with the deer situation. The deer was ultimately removed from the tracks and service was restored by 4:23 p.m. "Deer off tracks. Now in custody of animal control. Bambi is alive," the Chicago Fire Department tweeted.
