Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Police in Idaho said they rounded up a loose turkey that was "terrorizing" a neighborhood and they were searching for its owner.

The Shoshone Police Department said in a Facebook post that a loose turkey spotted on North Fir Street was "terrorizing the neighborhood."

"Once again another animal has escaped from the Shoshone petting zoo... but in all seriousness, if you're missing a Turkey and live near the 500 block of N. Fir St.... please come get it," police wrote.

A second Facebook post about an hour later said police has successfully captured the troublesome bird.

Police said the turkey is being kept at a petting zoo until the owner can be found. The department encouraged anyone missing a turkey to call them and follow some specific instructions.

"You must say 'gobble gobble' when they answer the phone... or you can message us directly on our Facebook page. In which case you'll have to do an embarrassing dance to get your bird back," the post said.
