Semi truck's tall trailer collides with ceiling of Boston tunnel

Nov. 8 (UPI) -- A semi truck with a tall trailer collided with the ceiling of a tunnel in Boston on Thursday morning and became wedged in place.

The crash, which was caught on video by a traffic camera, caused backups on Interstate 93 southbound when the truck struck the ceiling of the O'Neil tunnel before 6:20 a.m. Thursday.

Massachusetts State Police said there were no injuries resulting from the incident, but debris that spilled from the truck caused two other vehicles to become disabled.

All lanes of the tunnel were reopened by 8:30 a.m., state police said.
