Kitten with head stuck in toilet rescued

Nov. 7 (UPI) -- A Canadian pet owner captured video of the rescue of a young kitten that needed assistance from a plumber and a firefighter to escape a toilet.

Alain Clavette said the kitten had not been at his New Brunswick home for 48 hours yet when its head became stuck in a hole at the base of the toilet.

Clavette recorded video of the rescue, which involved a plumber, a firefighter and a veterinarian.

"Now how do you name a cat that has been stuck in a toilet or a cat that puts its head where is shouldn't? Suggestions accepted," Clavette says in the footage.
