June 21 (UPI) -- A fleet-fingered attendee at an event in France broke a Guinness World Record by texting the alphabet in only 7.44 seconds.

Rosie Baldwin was timed by a Guinness adjudicator on Tuesday at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity when she broke the record for fastest time to type the alphabet on a touchscreen mobile phone with only .16 seconds to spare.

"I knew I'd get it eventually!" Baldwin said after her successful attempt.

Guinness said officials will be in attendance at the festival until Friday, allowing other participants to attempt to take the record from Baldwin.
