Anaconda stops traffic with slow road slither

June 21 (UPI) -- A shocked witness on a road in Brazil captured video of an unusual pedestrian -- an 11-foot anaconda slithering across the road.

The video, recorded this week in Manaus, Amazonas, shows the massive snake leisurely making its way across the road while vehicles approach and stop to watch the spectacle.

The slow-moving serpent takes its time making its way across the road as the crowd of onlookers grows.

The filmer said the road crosses through a major green area in the city where wildlife can sometimes be spotted.
