June 20 (UPI) -- Police in Florida responded to a home where an alligator turned up on the doorstep and proved to be "not very cooperative."
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said Cpl. Trautman and Deputy Van Worp Jr. responded to the home of a woman who reported discovering an alligator on her front door step.
"The young alligator was not very cooperative with deputies," the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post.
The alligator was relocated to a more suitable habitat.
"Cpl. Trautman gave the alligator a trespass warning and a personal escort to his new home near Lake Seminole," the post said.
