Man rescues fawn from sewage lagoon in Montana

By
Ben Hooper

June 19 (UPI) -- A municipal employee in a Montana city was recorded wading out into a sewage lagoon to rescue a stranded fawn.

A video recorded last week at a sewage lagoon in Fort Benton shows Joe Bauer wading out to rescue a fawn stuck in the thick muck.

The video shows Bauer carefully make his way to the baby deer and pick it up in his arms.

"Joe Bauer, who works for the City of Fort Benton, was asked to go rescue a fawn from the sewage lagoon. The fawn was reunited with its mother," the filmer wrote.
