Students find 12-foot python lurking in school bathroom

June 11 (UPI) -- Wildlife trappers were called to a school in Thailand to remove a 12-foot python found lurking in a student bathroom.

A video recorded at the Wat Phinitthammasan school in Ang Thong shows wildlife trappers capturing the gargantuan snake spotted in a bathroom by students assigned to clean the facilities.

''We think that the python entered the school from a pond. It wanted somewhere warm and dry. We will try to prevent snakes from getting into the school again," teacher Kraiwut Banmon said.

The trappers said the python would be released into the woods a safe distance from the school.
