June 4 (UPI) -- Authorities in Georgia said a bear was spotted Monday outside a bus station, days after a bear that might be the same animal visited the county jail.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority said the bear was reported outside the bus station in College Park about 6:15 a.m. Monday and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources was summoned to the scene.

Officials said the bear may have been the same animal spotted Friday by security cameras outside the nearby Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office said there have been numerous bear sightings reported in the city in recent days, and officials suspect all of the sightings might be the same wandering bruin.

"We've had sightings all over the city of this same bear," College Park Police Lt. Gerald Riser told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "It's stretched from Old National to Main Street to the East Point line."

Rider said there haven't been any reports of injuries or property damage from the bear.
