May 22 (UPI) -- A Texas sheriff's office shared a photo of a deputy "grabbing the bull by the horns" to escort a wandering longhorn back to its home.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office posted a photo to Twitter showing the deputy holding onto one of a longhorn's horns while escorting it down a road.

The sheriff's office said the deputy was walking the bovine back to the home where it had escaped during the weekend.

"Only in Texas! Our deputies believe in 'grabbing the bull by the horns' to get the job done!" the sheriff's office tweeted.
